Enjoyed my stay. Its great to see the improvements since hurricane Harvey. The pool area is fantastic! Really loved the swim up bar, and friends enjoyed the slides. Plenty of tables, each with an umbrella, and lots of loungers to relax in. Landscaping added a nice, colorful touch to the resort. We stayed in 3114 which was very clean and had everything we needed. Its an easy walk down the boardwalk to the beach which was not crowded at all. Overall, great experience. I'm excited to see the rest of the improvements when they are complete.
Pool update has been completed and looks like the construction is almost done on the front building. Been a long time coming but past comments are not really relevant. See for yourself. Best pool in Port Aransas. Condos are hit and miss but mine was great.
We were definitely concerned because the reviews were so bad. We took our chances and stayed here for a whole week with our kids. This place totally exceed expectations! I would not agree with a single bad review. The pools were spectacular, staff was extremely friendly, everything was open. Yes, minor construction for remodel they are actively working on but it is to be expected. The beach was amazing, so nice and the boardwalk to beach was safe and nice. The pools and swim up bar, slides, hot tub, etc exceeded expectations. The room was extremely nice, spacious, and just as pictured, even bigger than expected! One of the beds was a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. We had 3 kids with and they were all in tears when we left, cannot wait to go back for another stay! Thank you to the staff and I would highly recommend for families!
My fam and I love this place. In our experience- The front desk staff is always upbeat and helpful. Bartenders and room services are also good. The location is superb. The pools and hot tubs are pretty awesome too. It is true the place is becoming dated and got hammered by Harvey bad- but we are approaching a decade now - they better pick the pace. Aside from that this place is great for families and pricing is still pretty reasonable give the amenities, location and dedication to customer service.
I love Port Royal and everything that entails! I dream about it all year and the time always goes too fast...but I always feel extremely fortunate to have such a beautiful place to stay. Thank y'all for all the hard work... your hard work does not go unnoticed!
Port Royal has the best pool on the island. I get the best sleep when I come here. The property has been through a lot over the years but it exciting to see the reconstruction of Building 2.
Don't listen to the comments. This place was just fine. Also, pet friendly. There was construction, but definitely bearable. We stayed in 4201 last weekend and had a great time with family there! Can't wait till it's completed
